Key Responsibilities:

Part-Time Installer

At IMSYS, we specialize in Video Surveillance Systems, Video Analytics, Access Control, Asset Tracking, and Inventory Control solutions.
Job Summary: As a Hardware Implementation Specialist, you’ll be integral to both technical and sales operations. Your responsibilities will encompass learning, testing, installing, integrating, and deploying hardware solutions. Physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting heavy items may be required. The ability to use and obtain certification for scissor lift use is a must. Collaborating closely with customers, you’ll oversee seamless product implementations, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install hardware such as RFID Readers, Video Surveillance Cameras, and Access Control devices.
- Support and troubleshoot computer hardware issues.
- Implement products within timelines and budgets.
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting.
- Identify business requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Capable and willing to work at heights, including climbing ladders.
- Willingness to obtain scissor lift certification for project needs.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Experience in tasks such as pulling data cables, drilling holes, and installing conduit, with additional experience in installing door controllers and readers being advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel locally and regionally.
- Networking skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and adhere to instructions.
- Readiness to work outdoors, even in adverse weather conditions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Assist with server software, client software, & mobile device setup.
- Analyze system logs for improvements.
- Provide end-user support.
- Experience with video management systems.
- Understanding of RFID technology.
- Experience with security system implementations.
- Previous technical support experience.
- Knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting.
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware and software.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of server software, client software, & mobile devices.
- Deploy software packages and install hardware, including RFID Readers, Video Surveillance Cameras, Access Control devices, and more.
- Manage network devices.
- Configure and maintain LAN (Local Area Network) connectivity.
- Analyze system logs and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Provide assistance and support to end-users through a help desk system.
- Provide phone support and on-site troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve user issues.
- Identify and document business requirements and objectives influencing product configuration and installation.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of relevant product technologies.
- Respond promptly to trouble tickets following customer service level agreements.
- Serve as a pre-sales and post-sales product specialist as needed.
- Conduct project reviews and interact with the development team to define and implement new software updates and release requirements.
- Ensure systems are operational and customers are satisfied.
