IP video surveillance is fast becoming the norm
when it comes to advanced video surveillance for businesses and government agencies

Today there are many vendors of IP cameras and many vendors for digital video recorders and network video recorder (NVR) software. IP surveillance equipment vendors typically include both specialized digital imaging equipment manufacturers and larger manufacturers that are active in consumer, broadcast, and security video.
Intelligent Video Systems
Now a days, tremendous amounts of video is being recorded, yet never watched or reviewed, due to lack of time. This results in events and activities being missed, and suspicious behavior is not noticed in time to prevent incidents. This has led to the development of Intelligent Video.
Examples of video analytics applications include: counting the number of pedestrians entering a door or geographic region, determining the location, speed and direction of travel, identifying suspicious movement of people or assets, license plate identification or evaluating how long a package has been left in an area.
